More or less the final design for the main character of the webcomic concept I'm working on (which I hope I can turn into a fully realized project soon).
"Ember" is a fantasy adventure set in Astorell, a realm locked in eternal night. Kora Heston, a young woman from our modern world, finds herself caught up in a quest to restore the Sun Goddess, who disappeared without a trace centuries ago. While she's pretty sure there are much better people for the task, the fact that she can wield the goddess' shield means that she doesn't have much choice in the matter.

This is very pretty. I like the soft pastel look and the delicate lighting. From looking at her, I had kinda expected her to be Connie, or a gemsona of some kind, but I'm rather intrigued by your story idea. She definitely fits the bill of someone who would carry the shield of a sun goddess, which makes me wonder what the inhabitants of the sunless Astorell look like, and why the goddess is missing. You'll have to keep us updated.
